BIOGRAPHY

Takako Masuda is a marine microbiologist currently working at the Marine Environment Division, Fisheries Resources Institute, Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency. Since her doctorate studies, she has been focusing on how microscopic size phytoplankton influence ecosystems. Specifically, on pico- and nano-phytoplankton community response to environmental changes and the role of N2 fixers.
